Ralston Male NPT Quick-test Fittings make periodic calibration of pressure instruments as easy as can be

  1. Do you need to periodically calibrate pressure instruments in the field in harsh environments?
  2. Do you have to check pressures of systems that are under pressure?
  3. Do you need the reliability of a dual pressure seal system?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions then you should use Ralston Male Quick-test fittings. Connect to pressure transmitters, EFMs, Flow Computers and other NPT devices under test using thread sealant for a permanent connection.

Male Quick-test Fittings

Install these fittings only once with thread sealant – after that you can connect to them using just your fingers.

This makes calibration easy and quick by connecting and disconnecting a hose without a wrench or thread sealant. The built-in cap protects the fitting from mud, dirt and contamination. An optional check-valve means you can connect to to systems under pressure up to 3000 psi (210 bar). If you get a fitting with a cap and a check valve there will be two independent pressure seals when the fitting is on-line in the field. These fittings are available in brass and stainless steel. If the process has chemical compatibility issues such as sour gas then stainless steel is a better option. Ralston Male NPT Quick-test fittings are available in a wide range of NPT sizes and best of all they are from Ralston Instruments so you can count on their reliability and long life in the field.
