Ralston Instruments Introduces the New Field Gauge

Newbury, OH, October 10, 2019 - Ralston Instruments is pleased to announce the latest addition to our extensive line of pressure calibration products - the LC10-TA Digital Probe Thermometer. Designed as a practical alternative to industrial glass temperature probes, the portable LC10-TA features a durable stainless steel probe, eliminating the risks involved in using mercury thermometers. It’s a helpful tool for lab personnel, I&E and hydrostatic technicians, and anyone involved in temperature monitoring in non-hazardous locations.

"The LC10-TA has all the features you’d expect from an industrial digital temperature gauge, with one major advantage. It features a USB connection for live data logging, and we have included our FieldLab Desktop Software for easy remote monitoring and data logging of readings," stated Doug Ralston, Senior VP of Engineering. "PC connectivity isn't something that most standard digital temperature gauges can provide. We engineered the LC10-TA so a tech can monitor temperature fluctuations from a PC as they occur - in clear, graphical detail on screen and logged directly to the computer. For applications that require general temperature monitoring, particularly in the lab, the LC10-TA is a great solution."

The Field Gauge LC10-TA Digital Probe Thermometer is certified to CSA Standard 22.2 61010-1 with a temperature range of -30 to 150°C (-22 to 302°F) and temperature accuracy of IEC 60751 Class A (+/- (0.15 +0.002*|t|)°C). It features a large, easy-to-read display with intuitive controls and a bright backlight, and includes customization options that allow the user to switch from among four standard engineering units.

For nearly 50 years, Ralston pressure calibration products have been trusted by calibration labs and field technicians in energy production, health care, petrochemical production, storage and distribution, and many other industries around the globe. From hand pumps and compressed gas control devices to hoses, adapters, and complete calibration kits, all Ralston products are made in the USA using innovative design and precise manufacturing techniques.
